Full of flavor, savory, and smokey, this is what we call old-fashioned (Old West) beef jerky.
Our jerky is not...what many are calling beef jerky in our modern world. So much of today's jerky is soft, moist, almost wet, and most of it is full of sugar and too sweet, almost like candy. It's so soft that after a couple of bites, it's gone, swallowed, and so is its flavor. If you enjoy this type of beef jerky, then that's perfectly alright for sure.
But we make ours the old-fashioned way! More savory than sweet, and dehydrated to perfection. So when you tear off a piece, it takes a while to eat.
We use U.S.D.A.-certified cuts of top-round beef. Very lean and flavorful cuts marinated in my family's Old West marinade. After the jerky has been dehydrated, we take the time to hand-trim every piece of any visible fat before it goes into your bag!
